Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel

The 1.1 mile Zion-Mount Carmel tunnel was completed in 1930 to provide a direct route from Zion to Bryce. We passed through it early in the morning as we set out for Bryce Canyon and waved goodbye to Zion National Park.
