The Inner Harbor in Baltimore is contained within the Baltimore National Heritage Area. The city played a pivotal role in the war of 1812 and our national anthem was written here. The Baltimore Heritage Organization is running a Five Minute History series to combat cabin fever during the Covid-19 confinement. See below for the clip on the landmark Bromo Seltzer tower…I didn’t know there was once a giant blue bottle at the top.

Location: 21 S Eutaw St, Baltimore, MD 21201

Designation: National Register of Historic Places

Date established/designated: June 4, 1973

Date of my visit: July 2013
