Google Arts and Culture is offering a virtual tour through the rooms of President Andrew Johnson’s homestead in Greeneville, Tennessee here. Andrew Johnson became the 17th president of the United States following the assassination of President Lincoln in 1865. He is a controversial figure in history due to his divergence from Lincoln’s Reconstruction plans, opposing the 14th amendment and his impeachment trial.
