High Falls Gorge Nature Park»

High Falls Gorge is a privately owned park near Lake Placid which has been open to the public since the late 19th century. The family owned attraction features well-maintained trails, walkways and bridges on 22 acres along the west branch of the Ausable River. Four different waterfalls can be seen along the one-mile nature trail.

    1. That is expensive for a family. We were just two and I don’t remember it being particularly spendy…we may have had a discount from our hotel or with pass we bought for area attractions, but I can’t recall. It is very nicely maintained…lots of wooden bridges and railings.
