Welcome back to National Parks and other public lands with T!
Glenmont Virtual Tour►
Glenmont was Edison’s mansion, about a mile away from the labs and factories in West Orange. It is on 13 acres on a hill in Llewellyn Park, which was America’s first planned residential community. To take a tour of the house, you must go to the Visitor Center on Main Street and get a ticket. Photography isn’t allowed inside the mansion, but you can see what I saw on my visit through the videos below. In the first video, Ranger Karen gives a one-minute overview of the park unit. In the second video, tour the entire estate and hear the remarkable stories, set to old-time phonograph music.

I would love to visit this place. Thanks for your post!
The home and grounds are wonderful to tour, but the lab down the street is filled with inventions and history. Could go there many times and see something different each time.
Thank you for making me aware of this.
What an interesting building with all the various wings and the large second story patio.
Yes, a lot of workmanship and attention to detail in that home
