Take the 5-mile Drive through Kolob Canyons»
Now you can drive through lovely Kolob Canyons from the comfort of your armchair! The 15-minute video, embedded below via Hoosier Tim’s Travel Videos on YouTube, allows you to experience the five mile scenic drive through the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park. The film splices dashboard cam footage with video of stops at overlooks. There is no narration or music, so it’s best to watch with the sound muted.

Kolob Canyon was our playground when the main valley at Zion got jammed to the gills during the summer season. It’s much higher elevation so it’s cooler and far less know so not nearly as busy. Some of the best hikes and backpack trips are in Kolob from the easy hike to the giant Kolob Arch to some very technical stuff including slot canyons. Such a wonderful place. Thanks for bringing back some good memories!
I would definitely spend more time here next visit
One of our three favorite National Parks.

I love Zion and haven’t explored this part. Thanks!

I’ve been to Zion several times over the years, but never to Kolob. I definitely have to add it to my must see list. –Curt

Very cool! I’m so glad we explored Kolob Canyon on our last visit to Zion. It was so peaceful compared to other parts of the park.
Yes, much quieter
