Diverse NPS►
I am part of a coalition of fellow park enthusiasts dedicated to promoting diversity and equity in our public lands. We’ve been collaborating on posts since mid 2020.

- August: Black in National Parks Week
- September: Soul Trak
- October: Charles Roundtree
- November: Youth Opportunities Program
- December: Black Kids Adventures
- January: The Memorial Foundation
- February: Syatt
- March: Love Is King
- June: The Venture Out Project
- July: Wilderness Inquiry
- Sept: Girl Trek
- Oct: Greening Youth Foundation
- Nov: Native Women’s Wilderness
- Dec: Big City Mountaineers
- Jan: Latino Outdoors
- Feb: Outdoor Afro
- Mar: Hike Clerb
- Apr: Indigenous Environmental Network
To mark Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month this June, we are sharing the work of Outdoor Asian in our community effort to showcase organizations who are working towards social justice and more inclusive public lands

About Outdoor Asian►
Outdoor Asian aims to create a diverse and inclusive community of Asian & Pacific Islanders in the outdoors. To do so, different chapters organize local trips and workshops to inspire people to enjoy the outdoors. The organization also utilizes its online presence to amplify stories and histories of its diverse communities, while also working to create future leaders in the recreational and environmental sectors. All their work is grounded in five key values: equity, advocacy, representation, stewardship, education and community.
We encourage you to learn more about their work or to join their chapters in Washington, Oregon, Vermont, Colorado, and Los Angeles.
